The Syosset Central School District is pleased to announce that the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County will feature works of art by two of our High School Students in their annual gardening calendar.
Senior Shi Fang Chen and Junior Jasmine Guan were selected to have their artwork published in the 2023 calendar. They created their nature-themed work with coaching from their art teacher Demi Protonentis. Shi Fang received the Gold Award and will be featured in the month of October. Jasmine received the Silver Award and will be featured in the calendar’s photo collage. The competition is open to Nassau County students in grades K through 12.
