Troops 43 & 430 both charted by AMVETS Post 76 of Bay Shore, worked together to support the Bay Shore Fire Department’s Run to the Pump 5K on Saturday July 15, 2023. The scouts and scouters provided water and encouragement to the runners at the 1/2 way point.
This has been a busy week for the scouts as the majority of Troop 430 was preparing to head to a week of summer camp the following day.

Scouts BSA is a year round program where youth learn and grow.
Discovery is at the heart of Scouting. Whether it’s community service, a campout or hike on the trail we believe every adventure helps us uncover a little more about ourselves. We build the foundations of humility and compassion, strengthening character through actions to prepare youth for a lifetime of leadership.
