New York State Parks Announces Expanded Dining Options for Jones Beach State Park in 2021

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (State Parks) is pleased to announce a variety of new food options will be available at Jones Beach State Park this summer, including Mexican-style fare at the East Bathhouse and “The Cove,” a new dining area at Zach’s Bay.

“This is exciting news for food lovers everywhere,” said State Parks Commissioner Erik Kulleseid. “Jones Beach State Park is trying something new to provide the best and tastiest food on the beachfront. There is sure to be something for everyone. Come spend the day and enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner with us.”

Field 6 – In the mood for some handmade gelato? You can also get fresh, not frozen, burgers, authentic Greek Gyro, Nathan’s Hotdogs, Fish & Chips, Fried Clams, Falafel, a full bar and more. Now open.

East Bathhouse – Enjoy the sun, sand and sway of the newly installed palm trees. The atmosphere and the Mexican-themed menu will make you feel like you are truly on vacation. Some favorites being served: Tacos (Chicken, Steak, Fish, Shrimp, Beef Birria) Nachos, Churros and Gelato. Opening Memorial Day weekend.

J & B Restaurant Partners Top Flight Foods, LLC

Boardwalk Café – The beautiful view from the café looks out at the sand and the sea. Enjoy the traditional snack bar menu available until 4:00 pm. Stay late and enjoy a full dinner menu from appetizers to dessert. Be sure to try some of their signature sandwiches such as Tiki Joe’s Burger or the Sunset Poke Bowl. Opening the Friday before Memorial Day weekend.

Gatsby on the Ocean – is a restaurant and catering facility that is available for catered events of all sizes and types, from weddings to Sweet 16’s. They will be open to the public all year when there are not catered events, they are open for lunch and or dinner indoor and outdoor.

Central Mall and West Bathhouse – Opening for the season on the Friday before Memorial Day. There is nothing like French fries, a burger and a drink at the beach.

Live Nation Worldwide, Inc

Zach’s Bay – The Cove at Zach’s Bay will open to the public the Friday before Memorial Day Weekend. Whether you come by car or by bicycle, there will be great tasting food and drinks to enjoy. With food trucks and an expanded menu there will be plenty to choose from. This is a great option for people using the new Ocean Parkway Shared Use Path.

Costa Foods

Field 1 and 2 – Opening Friday, May 28 with all your favorite beachside menus. We are so excited for this new vendor at Jones Beach to show us what they can do, with special themed nights and live music.

Beachside Valet – Will be out and about on the beachfront with mobile ice cream carts for those that are busy basking in the sunshine and need something to cool them down.
