The builders clubs at Setauket Elementary School in the Three Village Central School District crafted beautiful, handmade gingerbread villages to spread cheer this holiday season. Students worked in teams to create a gingerbread house to stand tall in the middle of the village. The houses were surrounded by trees, sleds and characters to complete the holiday scene. The entire creation was made from candy, frosting, graham crackers and other tasty treats.

Students worked together after school to create gingerbread villages made completely out of delicious treats.

One gingerbread village will be donated to the Long Island State Veterans Home in Stony Brook whereas the other will be on display at the Amber Court Assisted Living facility. Residents and families will be able to enjoy the villages, while students learned to embrace the spirit of giving.
