Due to the bad weather predicted for Sunday, Winter on Wellwood is being rescheduled. This event is a large coordination of schedules across various partnerships and thankfully nothing has been cancelled. However, the event is rescheduled and will now be split between Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.

Friday, 12/8 at 7:00 PM the Lindenhurst Fire Department Holiday Parade will kick off and make its way down to the Village Square for the Historical Society’s (Breslau Lindy) tree lighting ceremony. The Tree Lighting will be immediately to follow. Plus, an Ice Sculptor will be in the park from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM!
Saturday, 12/9 at 12:00PM – 5:00 PM the BID Kindl Market will take place. Santa in the Park will be from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the Village Square (photos with Santa from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM) and the free carousel (sponsored by the Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce) along with face painters and more will be there for the fun! Don’t miss the MBS Wreath Contest at 4:00 PM at the Gazebo and Tow Trucks for Families Parade from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM!
Although this is not what was had originally planned, we hope that the Lindenhurst community (and the neighboring communities) can still enjoy Winter on Wellwood!
