Each year at this time, the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition presents the Pink Flags Celebration, where hundreds of flags are displayed on the lawns of Good Samaritan Hospital to commemorate October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. On Oct. 1, West Islip’s Vocal Motion performed at the WIBCC’s pink flag ceremony at the Women’s Imaging Center. Under the direction of Melissa Senatore, the group of talented juniors and seniors captivated the emotional audience with selections from “The Greatest Showman.” It was a beautiful day that showed love and devotion to those who have been affected by breast cancer.
