Unmasking The Story Of ‘Romeo And Juliet’

Ninth graders in Ms. Connelly’s class at West Babylon Senior High School are studying “Romeo and Juliet.” As part of their lessons, the class held a masquerade ball, with each student designing a different mask based on a character from the story. Students chose a character to analyze, and the masks became visual representations of each character. Students cited evidence from the play to support their analysis.
