Town Officials Celebrate Grand Opening Of Raynham Hall Visitors Center

Oyster Bay Town Councilwoman Michele Johnson, Councilwoman Vicki Walsh and Town Clerk Rich LaMarca recently helped cut the celebratory ribbon for the grand opening of the new Raynham Hall Museum Visitors’ Center. The new addition, located at 30 West Main Street in Oyster Bay, provides guests with an enhanced experience of the museum and its exhibits, featuring a multimedia display about the Culper Spy Ring, dioramas depicting scenes of the British occupation of Long Island, a museum shop and an augmented reality experience. The center also serves as a hub for the museum’s educational programs and events, which promote the history and culture of Oyster Bay and Long Island.
