Robert Moses State Park, in Babylon offers the following interpretative programs in the Spring of 2024. There will be a fee of $4.00 per adult, $4.00 per child, and children under 3 are free. A $10.00 parking fee must be paid during the fee collection season. To register, please visit Eventbrite.com and search #NatureEdventure. Reservations are taken two weeks prior to the program date. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please call or cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please be prompt. If others are waiting, your place may be given to them if you have not arrived when the program starts.
Spring Shore Bird Hike: (Adult Program)
Sunday May 19th 10:00am ~ 12:00pm
Spring at the beach is one of the best birding times of the year! They see their shorebirds return to enjoy the warm weather of spring and summer on Long Island. Take a hike along the shore to see what birds have returned! Meet in Field 2 near the concession building! Dress for the weather. They will be walking on sand for the entire duration of the program. Bring binoculars! They may hike as far as 4 miles!
