Nissequogue River State Park, located in Kings Park, offers the following interpretative programs in the spring of 2024. There will be a fee of $4.00 per adult, $4.00 per child, and children under 3 are free. An $8.00 parking fee must be paid during the fee collection season. To register, please visit Eventbrite.com and search #NatureEdventure. Reservations are taken two weeks prior to the program. Family programs are geared for ages 6 and up. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please call or cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please be prompt. If others are waiting, your place may be given to them if you have not arrived when the program starts.
Kings Park Center History: (Family Program)
Saturday May 11th 1:00 ~ 3:00pm
On this 2-mile walk, they will study the history of the old Kings Park Psychiatric Hospital community that makes up the park’s property today. Dress for the weather and wear proper footwear!
