During the course of five days, East Meadow High School collected donations to support the earthquake victims in Turkey.
Members of the East Meadow school community collected enough donations to fill up an entire 15-foot U-Haul. The district thanks volunteers Kiran Maharaj, Elenis Lopez, Parkway Elementary School, Mrs. Piombino’s journalism class, Mrs. Merolla, East Meadow’s Boy Scouts, and all the students and staff who so graciously helped with the cause.
