Connetquot High School juniors and seniors took the first step toward their future through attendance at the annual College Fair, held on Oct. 3.
More than 90 colleges and university representatives were on hand to speak with students and their parents about educational opportunities and programs at the institutions they were representing. There were also workshops for those interested in financial aid and NCAA regulations and athletic scholarships.
Connetquot Director of Guidance Jessica Yawney-Kohler said she was extremely pleased with the turnout. She explained that in addition to the College Fair, there will be additional opportunities for students and their families to attend Financial Aid Night, a FAFSA workshop and Scholarship Night, events that will make the college search and application process more streamlined.
