Connetquot High School juniors and seniors took the first step toward their future through attendance at the annual College Fair, held on Oct. 3.

Connetquot High School student Emma Savino expressed interest in the Eastern Long Island Academy of Applied Technology and spoke with representative Robert VanBrunt.

More than 90 colleges and university representatives were on hand to speak with students and their parents about educational opportunities and programs at the institutions they were representing. There were also workshops for those interested in financial aid and NCAA regulations and athletic scholarships.

Connetquot High School Students Look To Their Future

Connetquot High School students explored more than 90 colleges and universities during the annual College Fair.

Connetquot Director of Guidance Jessica Yawney-Kohler said she was extremely pleased with the turnout. She explained that in addition to the College Fair, there will be additional opportunities for students and their families to attend Financial Aid Night, a FAFSA workshop and Scholarship Night, events that will make the college search and application process more streamlined.
