On Saturday, October 24th, Massapequa Takes Action Coalition (MTAC) held a Fall Drug Take Back Event. MTAC, the Massapequa Elks Lodge #2162 and the Massapequa Chamber of Commerce collaborated to make the Fall Drug Take Back a success. Volunteers from the Massapequa Elks and Massapequa Chamber of Commerce were eager to support the MTAC initiative and greeted residents with enthusiasm. With the help from all volunteers, 200 pounds of pharmaceuticals were collected.

Nassau County Executive, Laura Curran, showed support at MTAC’s Fall Drug Take Back Event where volunteers from the Massapequa Elks Lodge #2162, YES Community Counseling Center, Massapequa Chamber of Commerce and MTAC collected 200 pounds of pharmaceuticals.
