Enjoy a free, family-friendly viewing where community members can gather and watch the live matches on giant outdoor screens, enjoy entertainment, and cheer along with the World Cup together! The event will take place at Stony Brook University on Friday, June 12, 2026.
On top of the New York State World Cup community viewing events, New York State United will be recognizing local soccer coaches who have made a lasting impact across Long Island communities. The categories include: Volunteer Recreational Coaches, Travel Coaches, School Coaches, Inclusive/Adaptive Coaches, Girls Coaches, and Underserved Community Coaches.
