HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING AT ORIENT BEACH STATE PARK
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation is pleased to announce that the Holiday Tree Lighting at Orient Beach State Park in Orient will take place on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 6:00pm.
We invite everyone to join us to help Santa light the tree in celebration of the holiday season. In the spirit of the season, we will be collecting coats and canned food items for families in need in our community. Any donations are welcomed and appreciated.

Directions: Orient Beach State Park can be reached by taking the Long Island Expressway East to exit 73 (Old Country Road) to Northville Turnpike North to Sound Avenue East to park entrance.
BELMONT LAKE STATE PARK HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is pleased to announce that the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting at Belmont Lake State Park will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 4:15 pm to 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to join us in this magical celebration of the holiday season.
Prior to the lighting of the tree by Santa Claus, traditional holiday music will be sung by the choruses of North Babylon School District on the front lawn of the Long Island State Park Headquarters at Belmont Lake State Park. After Santa and his helpers light the tree, there will be a spectacular firework display over Belmont Lake. Activities include an ice sculpting demonstration, numerous holiday displays, a magic show, a juggler, food and merchandise vendors.
This event is sponsored by New York State Parks- Long Island Region, the Natural Heritage Trust, Cox Broadcasting (WBAB 102.3FM and WBLI 106.1 FM Radio Stations), College Hunks, Royal Events and New York Life.
Belmont Lake State Park can be reached via the Southern State Parkway, Exit 38 or by Sunrise Highway to Belmont Avenue North to Sylvan Road East.
HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING AT BAYARD CUTTING ARBORETUM
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation is pleased to announce that on Friday, December 3, 2021 the 24th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Great River will take place from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Everyone is welcome to participate in this Yuletide Celebration! Join the carolers in a sing-along of traditional holiday songs while awaiting the arrival of Santa Claus. At 6:00 pm sharp, Santa will light the tree for the 2021 holiday season. Afterwards, hot beverages will be served, and you can visit with Santa. All activities take place outdoors so please dress accordingly. The Manor House will not be open. In the spirit of the season, we will be collecting canned goods and new unwrapped toys for those in need in our community. All donations are appreciated.

Directions: Bayard Cutting Arboretum State Park is located at 440 Montauk Highway in Great River, NY. From the west take Southern State Parkway East to Montauk Highway Easy (27A). Proceed past the traffic light. The park will be on your right. From the east take Sunrise Highway west to Oakdale- Bohemia Road South to Montauk Highway west to park entrance.
