YES’ Executive Director Receives Long Island Business News Corporate Citizenship Award

On September 19, 2023, the Long Island Business News (LIBN) hosted its annual State of the Not-For-Profit Industry reception.  In hopes of providing insight into the successes and challenges of Long Island’s not-for-profit comprehensive network of organizations, the event also recognized several Long Island leaders for their corporate citizenship.

The 2023 Community Impact Award was presented to Adrienne LoPresti, Executive Director of YES Community Counseling Center.  The award, which recognizes Ms. LoPresti’s efforts within the non-profit industry which ultimately serves to influence Long Island in a profound way.

Ms. LoPresti commented, “It is with great pride to accept this award from LIBN as the services that YES Community Counseling Center provides to our community members in need is so vital.  Standing alongside of our partners, including Henry Schein and Jovia Bank and our other non-profit leaders deeply underscores the important work that we do to help those struggling across Long Island.  When we can all work together, we are far more effective in changing lives.”
