Elementary students from West Babylon School District recently completed their first week of elementary summer school at the West Babylon Junior High School. The program runs Monday to Thursday through Aug. 17. To close out the week, the school is holding different themed spirit day every Thursday. On July 13, students were “powered by kindness.” Students wore their superhero attire or their favorite book character attire today. In summer school, students participate in academic blocks, Club Invention, Camp Eagle and social-emotional learning activities.
