West Babylon Senior High School junior Grace Rossi was recently selected to perform at Carnegie Hall as part of the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of New York. Rossi was chosen as part of the principal orchestra following her audition. This is her third year performing with the orchestra. Rossi, who has been playing since elementary school, played the viola for the performance but plays the violin in school. Family and friends were able to join Rossi for her Carnegie Hall performance. She is pictured with West Babylon Senior High School orchestra teacher Kieran Franzone.
