Wantagh Elementary School celebrated pajama day on Feb. 2 and the student council held a successful one-day pajama and book drive. All donations went to a nonprofit organization, the Pajama Program, to distribute items to children’s shelters. Fifth grade student council members, from left, Joseph Leone, Megan Separ and Daniel Ober, showed the new and gently used items that were generously donated by students and staff.
