The West Islip School District will host an informational webinar on Monday, Jan. 11 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the upcoming referendum to sell the Masera property and the purchaser’s plans to create a new 55-and-over luxury development on the site. Advance registration for the webinar is required and can be submitted via Masera Sale Webinar Registration.
As a reminder, before the sale of the property can be finalized, it requires approval from the community. The vote to sell the property will take place on Jan. 19, 2021 at West Islip High School from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
