Udall Students Learn Lifesaving Techniques

Seventh grade students at Udall Road Middle School in the West Islip School District are learning important lifesaving skills during their health class with Ms. Mileti. Students used dummies to practice CPR, the Heimlich maneuver, AED and other techniques used in the event of an emergency. They practiced both conscious and unconscious scenarios, working together to administer the different techniques. At the conclusion of the unit, the students will be certified by the American Red Cross.
