Feb. 28 was a night filled with fun, athleticism and fundraising as the world-famous Harlem Wizards took on the Connetquot Thunderbirds in an unforgettable game of basketball.
Sponsored by the Connetquot Council of PTAs, an all-star team, consisting of district staff members and administrators joined forces to play the Harlem Wizards. More than 800 students, parents and community members came out and packed the stands to cheer on their favorite faculty players as they faced off against the Wizard’s tricks and theatrical antics. The school spirt was palpable, and the event was a great success for the Connetquot school community.
