Glenn High School seniors Emily LeMena and James Rourke were recently named National Merit Semifinalists in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program. They were honored for their outstanding academic performances on the 2021 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test during the last school year.

Glenn High School Principal Carisa Burzynski was honored at the Elwood School District Board of Education’s Sept. 1 meeting, led by Dr. Kenneth Bossert, the district’s superintendent. Burzynski was recently named the new assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction for the Babylon School District.
