Submissions Open For Congressional Art Competition For High School Students

Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1) has launched his eighth annual Congressional Art Competition for local high school students. NY-1 high school students can submit their original artworkonline by April 22nd to be considered for this year’s competition.

The first place winner’s artwork will be displayed in the United States Capitol for one year and the winner will also receive a $3,000 scholarship from the Savannah College of Art and Design and Tennessee Wesleyan College should the winner choose to pursue an art career at one of these institutions.

The second and third place winners will have their artwork displayed in Congressman Zeldin’s Patchogue office.
