The first graders at South Bay Elementary School in the West Babylon School District are working hard on their fiction reading and writing assignments. In Ms. Castelli’s class, the students read “Wolfie the Bunny” and wrote about how the character feels as if she is writing in her own diary. In Ms. Fitzpatrick’s class, the students also read “Wolfie the Bunny” and “Little Red Riding Hood” and compared the similarities in both stories.
