Smithtown Children’s Foundation’s Pickle Ball Tournament

On January 27, 2024, Legislator Leslie Kennedy attended a pickle ball fundraiser of the Smithtown Children’s Foundation at the Pickle N Par Club in Smithtown. The successful fundraising effort saw large community involvement to fund the ongoing initiatives of the foundation.

“The Smithtown Children’s Foundation provides regular and irregular assistance to students and community members via scholarships, assistance with obtaining school supplies and other necessities,” said Legislator Leslie Kennedy. “We often see when this assistance makes the news, such as in the wake of a tragic death or natural disaster. However, students every year benefit from the unsung routine philanthropy of these tireless volunteers and the expansive network that supports their endeavors.”
