Sachem Central School District faculty and staff were welcomed back from summer break during Superintendent’s Conference Day on Sept. 5. Staff members participated in the day virtually and in-person at the Sachem High School North auditorium.
The day kicked off with a presentation from Superintendent of Schools Dr. Christopher Pellettieri and district administrators. They reviewed district goals and priorities, the five-year strategic plan and Sachem’s “Portrait of a Graduate.” Dr. Pellettieri emphasized the importance of creating a Culture of Care throughout Sachem and expressed his gratitude to all staff members for their hard work.
“I want to thank you for preparing our kids for the rest of their lives,” he said.
Additionally, Northwell Health gave an overview of the district’s partnership and the resources available for Sachem students, staff and families.
