Rocky Point Middle School and the Rocky Point PTA hosted students at the “6th Grade Welcome BBQ” on Aug. 24. Students met their classmates and friends, practiced opening their lockers, reviewed their schedules and checked out where their classrooms are located. Students were greeted by Principal Mrs. Meyers and Assistant Principal Dr. Herbert, as well as other Rocky Point Middle School and Rocky Point High School students.
When they finished touring the school they will attend as incoming sixth graders in September, they enjoyed hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, beverages and ice treats.
