Students at Charles A. Reinhard Early Childhood Center in the Bellmore Public School District recently celebrated the season by choosing the perfect pumpkin to take home and decorate.
The annual Pumpkin Patch is sponsored and run by PTA members.
The school’s courtyard was filled with a variety of pumpkins for students to select. All classes attended, and children picked a pumpkin, estimated its weight and then weighed it. They also guessed how many candy corns were in a bag and gathered for class photos. The annual Pumpkin Patch is sponsored by the PTA.
