High School East Leadership raised $750 for the Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund on Thursday, November 4 while having fun sponsoring a series of powderpuff football games.
Teams were divided by class–seniors, juniors and sophomores and competed in 6-on-6 football while classmates served as coaches and officials.
The teams paid an entry fee which served as a donation to support breast cancer research.
High School East Leadership advisor Morgan Tavis said this is an annual event full of school spirit.
