Pal-O-Mine Equestrian, Inc. a private, not for profit organization providing a comprehensive therapeutic equine program using horses to facilitate growth, learning and healing for children and adults with disabilities, has launched a brand new program for children ages 18 months – 4 years. The new Barnyard Buddies Program will be facilitated by experienced and licensed educational and healthcare professionals, and taught using an experiential approach to learning. It will incorporate age appropriate skills and activities including animal-themed story time and songs; hands-on activities with Pal-O-Mine’s animals; and arts and craft projects. Each scheduled program consists of four sessions held once a week on a designated day, with each session held from 10 AM – 11:30 AM, and limited to ten children. All programs will be held at Pal-O-Mine Equestrian, 829 Old Nichols Road, Islandia, NY. Snacks will be provided.
