The baseball team of Oldfield Middle School in the Harborfields Central School District hosted its first ever Corey’s Promise game on May 21 against West Hollow Middle School. The Corey’s Promise Foundation raises awareness about pediatric cancer and assists families with the financial burdens they endure during their child’s cancer diagnosis.

“It was a great day to support Corey’s Promise and raise awareness about pediatric cancer,” Harborfields Athletic Director Rob Franco said. “Thank you to everyone that came out to support our student-athletes and program. A special thank you to Corey’s Promise, the Phelan family, West Hollow Middle School, the Harborfields Booster Club, Kaitlyn Wille, our very talented baseball program and all the volunteers that made the day a huge success.”
