This new position brings elder law and estate planning law firm Futterman, Lanza & Pasculli, LLP attorneys to the highest amount with 12 attorneys between three Long Island offices. Jennifer Raguso will concentrate her practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Elder Law, Medicaid Planning/Applications, Special Needs Planning and Trusts & Estates.
ABOUT JENNIFER RAGUSO
Jennifer S. Raguso joined Futterman, Lanza & Pasculli, LLP in April 2023 bringing her extensive knowledge and expertise to serve her clients.
Prior to joining Futterman, Lanza & Pasculli, LLP, Jennifer has worked at several prominent law firms that specialize in Estate Planning, Elder Law, and related areas. Through Jennifer’s firsthand experiences caring for an aging grandmother and a sister with autism, Jennifer developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with special needs and their families. She gained valuable insight into the legal, financial, and emotional complexities, enriching her practice and making her a tenacious advocate. Law Partner Aaron E. Jennifer Raguso earned her Juris Doctor degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, Central Islip, NY and she completed her undergraduate degree from Binghamton University, State University of New York
She was selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2022 and 2023 (awarded to only 2.5% of attorneys in Metro New York area). Jennifer was also on Moot Court Honors Board, and she received the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Elder Law (received highest grade in the class) and CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Elder Law Clinic (received highest grade).
Jennifer Raguso is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Elder Law & Special Needs Section Executive Committee, and Vice Chair of Client and Consumer Issues. She is also a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, Elder Law & Estate Planning Committee and Surrogate’s Court Committee and she is a Board Director of the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association.
Jennifer works primarily in our Smithtown office and meets with clients in the Garden City and Bay Shore office as needed.
