More than 40 students named to All-County and All-State music ensembles were recognized at the Wantagh Board of Education meeting on Feb. 9. Fittingly, the meeting opened with the Wantagh High School Honors Chorus performing two songs.

In December, Wantagh High School students Evan Thole and Sean Hill-Hotz attended the All-State music festival, hosted by the New York State School Music Association. Evan, a senior, performed with the symphonic band and Sean Hill-Hotz, a junior, sang with the chorus.
