On Oct. 8, the Lindenhurst Marching Band performed at MetLife Stadium in the USBands competition, where they finished in third place out of 10 schools competing in Division III-A.
The band posted a score of 78.7, only .10 out of second place and one point out of first place. Additionally, they were awarded Best Ensemble Music and scored highest in Individual Music.
