West Islip Community ‘Glows’ Together

The West Islip Health and Wellness Alliance welcomed hundreds of participants to West Islip High School for its third annual Glow Run on Nov. 4, bringing together students, families, and community members for an evening centered on health, wellness, and community engagement.

The event featured a three-quarter-mile illuminated course around the high school campus, where participants of all ages enjoyed a festive walk or run under the glow of colorful lights. Held in conjunction with Family Connect Night, the event encouraged families to spend quality time together while reinforcing the importance of healthy lifestyles and meaningful connections.

A spirit of enthusiasm and togetherness was evident throughout the evening as participants came together to celebrate wellness and community. The continued growth of the Glow Run reflects the community’s ongoing commitment to promoting wellness, supporting one another, and creating positive opportunities for families to connect.
