On a recent Saturday, Suffolk County Legislators Rob Trotta, Leslie Kennedy and Manuel Esteban, Sr. attended the Commack North Little League Family Day at Cedar Park and presented the League’s Executive Board with a check for $2500 to promote school bus safety on their social media, website and signage. The School Bus Safety program provides for a portion of the revenue generated from violations for school bus safety education. The county decided on youth sports leagues as deserving and well connected to the community for this educational campaign.
