The assistant animal shelter supervisor from the Islip Animal Shelter recently visited the Paw Patrol club at Lindenhurst High School to share interesting facts about the shelter and the different jobs that are there.
As part of the visit students were able to ask questions to gain a greater understanding of how an animal shelter operates.
The Paw Patrol club’s goal is to raise money and supplies for shelters and rescue groups. Multiple members of the club volunteer their time at the Islip Animal Shelter on weekdays or Saturdays and also host a yearly holiday toy drive for the animals.
