Fifth graders in Ms. Shah’s class at Tooker Avenue Elementary School in the West Babylon School District have spent the past few weeks studying U.S. geography. They learned about the different regions and how their climates affect the landscape of the regions. As part of a challenge, students competed in two groups against one another to put together a puzzle map of all 50 states as quick as possible. After declaring a winner in under three minutes, the students went head-to-head as they took to the Smart Board to identify the states.
