Girl Scouts of Nassau County Extends Cookie Season, Adds Second Pop-Up Drive-Thru Event

Girl Scouts of Nassau County is excited to announce it has extended its Girl Scout Cookie Program! Initially set to end on March 31, customers will now have until Sunday, April 11 to stock up on classic favorites such as Thin Mints®, Samoas®, Trefoils®, S’Mores® or Lemon Ups®. In addition to the announcement, the council will also host a second Girl Scout Cookie® Pop-Up event on Saturday, April 10, at the Girl Scouts of Nassau County’s headquarters in Garden City. The limited-time event will help support local Girl Scouts, as they aim to reach their seasonal cookie goals.

“We recently hosted our first-ever Girl Scout Cookie Pop-Up Drive-Thru event! During the event, our cookie entrepreneurs sold a great deal of their outstanding Girl Scout Cookie inventory with the help and support of our community,” said Rande Bynum, Chief Executive Officer, Girl Scouts of Nassau County. “We were blown away by the turnout. Some of our Girl Scout troops that held local booth sales completely sold out, so we decided if the demand was that strong, we should give our girls another chance to meet their sales goals.”

In conjunction with this event, Girl Scouts across Nassau County will be hosting their family booth sales and drive-thru sales as another option for customers to support. Customers can visit the pop-up event located at 110 Ring Road West in Garden City, N.Y, during the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 10.

For those customers who cannot make the in-person sales events, online ordering is still available throughout the extended sale time by visiting girlscoutcookies.org.
