On Saturday, April 11, the Manes Studio Theatre, 141 S Wellwood Ave, in Lindenhurst, will host a powerful night of music and mission as local veteran and professional singer Mor Schwartz takes the stage for a high-stakes benefit concert.
The event is a collaborative effort between Schwartz, the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce (NCCC), led by Frankie Camarano, and Boomer Productions, to provide critical support for those who served. Schwartz, who achieved the rank of Sergeant during her military service, is donating 100% of the profits from the event to Paws of War, a non-profit dedicated to providing service dogs and support to veterans and first responders.
Special guest Prashant Gupta, Director at Paws of War and Board Member of the Roslyn Chamber of Commerce, will address the crowd during the show to discuss the vital impact of the organization’s work.
The high-energy evening features the powerhouse production “Hopelessly Olivia VS Dolly & Divas.” Attendees can expect a journey through the greatest hits of Olivia Newton-John, Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, Reba, Shania Twain, Linda Ronstadt, and more, all while supporting a cause that Schwartz says is deeply personal.
“I recently found a photo of the day I received my Sergeant stripes, and with the incredible support of Ari at Boomer Productions, Prashant, and the NCCC, it reminded me exactly why I do this,” says Schwartz. “This isn’t just about the music; it’s about writing the biggest check possible to help my fellow veterans and their service animals.”
