PinkTie was started by Mike and Rich Cave after losing an Aunt to breast cancer. They took the opportunity to turn a tragedy into doing for others less fortunate. Since its inception in 2012, the organization has grown to support causes in New York related to education, food security and health. The organization has raised more than $1M and has partnered with local pantries with 150 plus food drop-off sites assisting families in need as a result of the COVID pandemic.
