The Bohemia Fire Department showed students what a firefighter looks like in their full gear during the fire safety presentation at Sycamore Avenue Elementary School.

Two Bohemia Fire Department firefighters then donned their full uniforms giving students a chance to see what a real-life firefighter looks and sounds like when wearing their helmet and gear. Students then met and spoke to the firefighters.

The presentation culminated with a question and answer session before materials on fire safety were passed out for each student to bring home.
