Commack Road Elementary School families recently brought their basket making skills to the Islip school’s annual CRES Night of Giving. Working with board of education member Paul Austin, teachers and the CRES PTA, the families assembled 20 baskets to give to community families in need, using donations collected during the PTA’s pre-holiday food drive.
