Eight From Rocky Point Sign National Letters Of Intent

The Rocky Point High School Athletic Department recognized eight student-athletes at a national letter of intent signing on Nov. 10. Surrounded by family members, coaches, administrators and peers, the students were applauded for their hard work as students and athletes.

Dominick Carbone, baseball, Coastal Carolina University

Grace Curtin, lacrosse, Florida Southern University

Olivia Dylnicki, gymnastics, University of Iowa

Alexa Kuhn, lacrosse, University of Massachusetts Lowell

Nicholas LaMorte, wrestling, University of Oklahoma

William Levoncik, lacrosse, Long Island University

Olivia Van Dyke, lacrosse, Mercy College

The district’s Director of Health, Physical Education, Intramurals and Athletics Jonathon Rufa introduced the students and read highlights from each of their high school athletic achievements. He congratulated the eight individually and invited their parents up to witness the formal signing of each student’s intent to play at the college level.
