Second grade teacher and Mindfulness Club leader Erin Marrazzo at Edith L. Slocum Elementary School in the Connetquot Central School District held a special assembly to introduce students to her recently published book, “Everyday Mindful Mantras for Minis.” After the read aloud, Mrs. Marrazzo practiced yoga and mindfulness with the students.

Mrs. Marrazzo’s book, “Everyday Mindful Mantras for Minis” gives children the mantras they need to believe in themselves and cope with the challenges they face in their lives. Using these mantras can empower kids to shape their own emotional health and create a positive future.
