Second graders at East Islip’s Connetquot Elementary School recently visited the Seatuck Environmental Association’s South Shore Nature Center to learn about plant and animal life cycles. The trip included a pond exploration, a forest hike and visiting with animals inside the center.
“Our students loved the trip, learned a lot and showed a great appreciation for the outdoors,” teacher Melissa Love said.
