Held in partnership with ReWorld, Islip’s 5th Annual Earth Day Poster Contest provided an opportunity for students from across the Town to showcase their knowledge of the recycling system and their love of the arts. This year, the Town received over 150 submissions, making the selection of just six winners a true challenge. All the winning posters are on display at Town Hall West. Congratulations to all who participated! We are excited to see how the creativity continues next year!

Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter attended along with DEC Commissioner Marty Bellew; Islip Town Recycling Educator, Danielle Wynn; ReWorld’s Facility Manager, Bill Murphy; and ReWorld’s Market Area Director, James Regan.
