First grade students in Mrs. Braun’s, Mrs. Levens’ and Mrs. Stucchio’s classes at Dogwood Elementary School recently brought their knowledge of Thanksgiving to life.
The students learned about the history of Thanksgiving and the historical Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. Then they made their own balloon creations and held a parade throughout the school while other students and teachers cheered on.
