Deputy Minority Leader Drucker Celebrates Educational Leaders

Nassau County Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) joined with the Plainview-Old Bethpage School District PTA Council on Tuesday, March 18 to celebrate Founders Day and salute the district’s outstanding educational leaders.

During the event at Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK High School, Deputy Minority Leader Drucker presented Nassau County Legislature Citations to 20 honorees spanning the spectrum of volunteers, educators, staff and community members who have supported the PTA and made a positive impact in their school and the greater community.

“As a lifelong resident and Plainview-Old Bethpage graduate myself, Founders Day is always a joyful occasion because of how it celebrates a remarkable tradition of excellence in public education that greatly benefitted my family and countless others,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “The Plainview-Old Bethpage School District PTA Council always does a tremendous job of hosting an event to honor outstanding community leaders who work diligently to uplift our youth and strengthen our collective commitment to superb public schools!”
